In a little under a week we shall be witnessing the first eclipse of the year, and since eclipses tend to put their signature on events of significance we might want to get all our ducks in a row now. By which I mean, answering all those emails, filing those forms and dealing with that awkward customer. Travelling on or near eclipse days can be interesting - you’d be surprised how many computers go down in communication and travel centres, so if you’ve decided to economize by skimping on insurance or putting off that car service, perhaps you should think again. The sun heads into the sign of Gemini on the 20th so for the next four weeks we all get a chance to try out some new roles and dance to as many different tunes as we like.
May 2012
Any month with a sun-Jupiter conjunction in it has to be a good month. And May has both a sun-Jupiter conjunction (13th) and a Mercury-Jupiter conjunction (22nd). Aim to set a situation in motion on or near these dates, and watch it grow. Other dates for your diary should include the weekend of the 5th/6th when Mercury and Saturn will be in opposition and there is a full moon in Scorpio: this is not perhaps the jolliest period of May but it will be purposeful. Venus in Gemini turns retrograde on the 15th, a matter of days before a solar eclipse (20th) making this one of the more volatile periods of the month. Neptune is bound up in the eclipse story, so the ministry of spin will be operating at full tilt, and the weird and the wonderful will be present in equal measure. Especially if you have a birthday on or near 19th February, 20th May, 23rd August or 22nd November this part of May could prove pivotal to your future. The month ends on a positive Uranus note – unusual in itself – so open yourself up to the new and the exceedingly different.
